Youngsters Drop in Evening

From 7pm to 9pm an evening of activities has been arranged for 12 to 16 year olds, with attending staff and helpers, in the Village Hall, see poster: youth poster 3rd July

The Jubilee Play Area

The Parish Council are pleased to have added additional equipment in the under 12s’ play area situated just north of the village cross roads Jubilee Play Area Map.

The new play items have been installed as part of the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations and in keeping with that theme the play area has been renamed The Jubilee Play Area

PLEASE DONT FORGET;

It is an under 12s’ play area

And for the health and safety of all users;

Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES are dogs are allowed, not even on a lead (nor on the older children’s play area and village playing field situated behind the village hall)

Please encourage your child to use the bins provided to drop in their drink and sweety wrappers

Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Tree

The Parish Council are pleased to announce that a tree has been planted on the edge of the Village Playing Field to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee :

   

When the ground becomes a little more firmer, an inscribed Bench will be placed round the tree to complete the commemoration.
